I got hit from the side

I got hit from the side 1st body shop repairs: $5800
Honda Repairs : $3000
Honda Repairs #2 : $600
Total: $ 9470 -> Value of my car @ 101,200 miles? -> $8000(private buyer)
So how does this makes any sense. Gotta laugh at this point.
Another Update: Took it to Honda for Second opinion. 1 month later they had to fix:
- knuckle, replace left front strut, lower control arm and hub bearing.
- and replaced subframe(was bent)
Got my car back Wednesday of this week. Found it making some noise. Took it back in, test drove it and found the front axel broke and cv boot.
Now i have to wait another week for them to fix this **** too.
Anyone want to buy my car, its practically new by now after all the parts being replaced!

I am so mad over this F'in repairs. I have had the worst experience trying to fix my car. I still don't have it back in my hands. Its been almost 2 months. They told me it was done like 1 week ago, but when I went to inspect, I found mistakes. Front bumper newly repainted had a smudge. New headlight was damaged, My amp under the seat, was stolen, A/F gauge was stolen. All lights on dash stay on(engine,SRS, etc.) My power door locks don't work anymore. I have to fix that one on my own or get it professionaly installed, instead of my fabricated own way. The reason for them keeping it, was I drove it like 20 feet and it felt all weird. Like I no control over the car, Wheels wouldn't turn, for nothing. And they told me, they cold nothing wrong with the suspension. When they checked the steering they told me YOUR CAR IS TOO LOW FOR US TO CHECK YOUR STEERING COLUMN. YOU LOWERED YOUR CAR INCORRECTLY. I Knew they were going to give me that excuse. "your car is modified, we can't do anything." Blah Blah Blah. I wanted to strangle somebody. I can't find any shop that will touch my car because its got modifications. And this is still under my insurance accident claim. Where's the gun, where is it! LEt me at them! I hope that I'm just smoking crack and my car is fine. I'm so tired of dealing with this already.

I was driving down some residential around the corner from the house. The suburban was at a stop and just as I was about to pas in front, he decides to go. I swerved, honk, braked, burned marks on the pavement and colided into him while trying to turn out of the way. So my passenger side front is crumpled in onto the wheel. Radiator pushed into the engine. The hood is all bet up.
It looks bad, but maybe they can tell me they can save it. I'm going to have to start from day one with mods if they do. I was so mad and sad at the same time. I will find out in a few days hopefully what the deal is with my em2 baby.

hope this can be fixed. my bro antdeezy sent me a list of cars to consider already. HA ha! New Evo, golf, civicSi, audiA3, TSX, Saturn sky. they are all nice, but I just don't wamt another car payment. I just finished payment off my civic in January. We will see what happens

$6000 total damges to the front....... repairable. I'll get to keep the hondz. my healight will be different? anybody have a set or 1 stock one I can pick up. when it get done, I'll have one stock headlight and another blacked out. LAME!

I got my baby back 
They did a sloppy job running wires or cables back, but I'm tired of complaining to them about mistakes. I got vibrations on the new hood. I have to go back and ask them to fix it.
Besides that those lame ***, sloppy, good for nothing workers/shop know noting about my car. I will next time go somewhere that tries to focus on my car more.
First time and bad expereince. Sucks that it happened. Wish I had more positive things to say.

i've always taken my car to the HONDA body shop, and always have to b!+(h and moan at them...when I got my car back after being rear-ended, i was still taking it back for the following two months because of things associated with getting rear-ended (driver's seat back loose...then them braking things while trying to fix other things 3x)

Ya, my car had been sitting at he shop for one week and I drive by to check the status, I find my car broken into. AMp stolen, gauges stolen. Stereo deck was non-removable. She told me tat her employees don't steal, so it couldn't be one of them. Funny thing is, I never accussed her employees. 
I thought she was hiding something. Besides that I wish I had gone somewhere else of my choice, not the insurance. 
They knew nothing about the CAI, fine I understand, but they offered to cut my AEM pipe to fit the air filter, they couldn't put back on. It fell off from the accident. CUT MY PIPE, THAT **** WAS BOUGHT, NOt FABRICATED IN MY GARAGE! WTF!!!
I thought she was hiding something. Besides that I wish I had gone somewhere else of my choice, not the insurance. I haven't been able to drive my civic since June. I had it for one week and back to shop it went cause they didn't complete repairs.
What's it like to drive a civic? I don't even know anymore.
