i was talking to this guy who brings his sti and evo mr into the garage to be worked on. anyways, a couple years ago he had a brand new acura rsx type s. he bought an aem cold air intake and some eibach lowering springs, but he sold the car only a month after he bought it and didnt have a chance to install them. so i bought the aem cai and his lowering springs all for $125. but i was wondering if they will fit? can anyone help me on this.

the springs should fit no problem, it'll just have a higher spring rate (stiffer)since its from a RSX.

the intake will not fit, so you should just sell that.

yeah i thought the springs would fit, but i didnt know about the intake, but since its such a good deal, i decided to get them. ill end up keeping the springs, if they fit, and going onto ebay and buy an intake pipe and put that aem filter on it, and sell the aem pipe.

The springs will fit, but they will look funny because the RSX has a different weight distribution. Therefore, they won't work.

Would the cai fit an ep3 civic? i mean, the engine bay has to be somewhat similar i'd imagine.

i thought the springs for an rsx and civic were interchangeable. whats different about the weight distribution? is the rsx lighter or heavier or what?

yeah itll fit. the engine bays are the same, so it should fit perfect. it would fit on the d17 if the engine was facing the other way though.

Listen, the springs are interchangeable, but they won't look right once on the car!!! You have a k20 in the front of a RSX and a D17 in the front of a civic. The *** end of a civic is lighter. Take your chances.

And how would a CAI for the K20 fit on the D17?

I am telling you now that these parts cannot be put on your car.
