Just like the title says.. what does Ac vs Max Ac really do? is Max Ac actually like the recirculation's button or what? Just currious

Ever notice that the last click on our 7th gens is like tornato speed? When the air conditioner is on, does it work it extra hard, or just blow twice as much with the same ac temp?
