I got an AT 06 Civic LX with 11k miles. Just bought it 3 months ago from a used car dealership. I just notice a substantial sound from the rear of the car when I get off bumps which sounds like "DUGGG" Anyone got some info about this?

honda had some front and rear shock problems. pretty sure they will warranty it.

yes same here i just bought a 2007 civic lx and i notice that noice, i called honda and they told me they are having problems with there rear

If its a single thump or a rapid series of two thumps going over sharp raised pavement. It may be the side impact foam inside the right rear panel that tends to come loose on some cars. Also check the rear bumper (whats under the the cover) for anything loose or hitting. Strike the rear bumper with youre fist to see if you hear anything unusual. I had to stick window tar calk between the foam abd the metal bumper to get rid of my rear noise.

Same problem here... I think it is a temperature dependant problem... could hear it last winter. by the time i decided to take it to the dealer and see what was the problem it was already spring and they couldn't find anything. and i did not hear it over the summer. winter is coming though, so it remains to be seen if it starts again...

fix it. took it to the local dealership and they found some fluids were leaking from the struts. changed it under warranty at no cost
