anyone getting tired of their civic?

ive been driving my civic for four years. ive done the basics: drop, wheels, intake, exhaust, lip kit, audio system. i want to slap the factory si wheels back on with some 50-series tires. i love my apexi ws2 exhaust but im just not feeling it anymore. im going to drive my civic for another 3 or 4 years so i just want a smooth comfortable ride. should i just start parting? is 50 series too small?

if anyones interested i guess im looking to possibly sell my adr 17" wheels and my catback exhaust system. if i get the money that i need/want. im looking replace the system that i had because it was stollen a year ago or just get some new tires for the si wheels. im keeping the drop i have.

any suggestions?

yup i feel the same, I've been driving my civic for 6 years now (bought it new at 01) pretty much done the same things with you: drop, wheels, lip, intake.
I just graduated from college and right now I'm still waiting for a job offer, if I do get a nice job with some nice salary I'm thinking of trade in my car with a bigger and powerful car, prob like Lexus/bmw/vw.

Well I have had my civic as long as "civicPesek" and bought brand new in April of 01'. And I will admit there has been some days I just wanted to part out and sell it (it’s usually because something broke). But I will repair or replace whatever brought me down in the first place and love my Civic like it was brand new. And sadly I am still putting thousands of dollars in to the little vic....https://www.civicforums.com/forums/4...ns-wheels.html

I've had mine for almost 2years now. Damn I love my civic and all, but we 7thgens get no love whatsoever. Sure people will be like, damn thats clean, but when put with every other car, it doesn't stand out and no one really pays attention to them. You know what I mean? So sometimes I get that feeling I want to part it out and just go back to stock, then sell it when time comes.

Yeah haha, everytime I see a clean hatch rolling around that's mad slammed, I want one so bad lol. And there's always one for sale, so I'm like gaaaaah! But my car isn't paid off yet. :\
I never really liked the 99-00si's, let alone the older civic coupes. They look weird imo.

i feel what you are saying. civics can look clean but its slow. its not like i want to go blazing speeds but i would like a good balance. at least 200hp. and we do mods and stuff but its not really an improvement because its a fuel efficient car. i love honda but our civics are just limited. when it comes time to get another car im looking to get a used wrx.

what does everyone else want as their next car?

7thgens have a lot of potential, just costs way too much money lol. i dont really care for going fast, but if i did id get a wrx just cause its awd. id go play in the mud all the time haha and show those trucks whats really up. wrx would be a nice upgrade from a civic though.

for me, i either want a 99 ek hatch, a wrx or a fit. xD

Wow, such despair! Just wait till you guys really grow up and have to drive the wife and kids around in a mini-van.

Why would I drive a mini-van? That is stupid. A WRX is 4doors and family approved. xD

Edit: and a hatchback or a fit is very spacey. Perfect for kids. xD

WRX family car ftw! That way you can take your kids to school and have some fun in it on the way home/work! xD

Hell yeah! I'd just be worried about it getting jacked. It'd have to be garage kept 24/7 lol. Fits are badass, they just look funny stock.

No one cares about you 2k1.
Just kidding bro. That's only because you have a k20 in there, a rsx-s, s2k and something else...so if you ever get bored...which i doubt you do, then you can just drive another car or hop on 1 of your bikes.
