Rep Power: 0 I just picked up a 2006 LX sedan yesterday (metallic grey) and I am loving it so far. The dealership phoned on friday and said they had just got one in with a manual transmission but that it wouldn't be around for long. Picked it up as soon as I heard. Before that I had a 98 cavalier RS, I can't believe I drove that piece of crap as long as I did, although in reality it still runs great. I can't wait until my engine is broken in so I can really see what it can do.

Everyone is buying an 06 LX! That model seems to be really popular right now.

Rep Power: 0 I ordered my new Civic from the factory last month. I went through the costco auto buying program and am paying $400 over invoice for it. I ordered a dark blue sedan with grey int. 5spd man. with navi, rear spoiler, fog lights, leather wrapped steering wheel and trunk tray. For some reason that combo of features is unavailable without special ordering it.

Well actually I put a down payment on it, on March 11th.
I can not wait to get it.
I currently have a 98 Honda Civic, which is in good shape, but time for a new one!!!!!!

I just l picked up a 06 civic hybrid yesterday(07/30/07)I have put 120 miles on it and I think I am getting at least 49 mpg. Won't know until I fill up again but this was the main reason for trading for it. I like the car so far but it is a long ways from the 03 Mustang I traded in for it. I hope you guys don't laugh me off this forum for having a hybrid but I was getting so sick of the gas I was going through.

Mine is the '07 Coupe, White of course, tinted windows, dark in back and small side windows fronts are medium tint. I have had the car since June 07 and now have over 12500 km's on it, totally lovin it. My last car was a '03 Nissan Altima 2.5SL, my son now drives it with limo tint on the back windows and fronts are dark tint, also he added a set of 20" Falkin's with 30 rubber.
O ya I also have my first PHOTO RADAR ticket, maybe that's why I didn't get the SI!! or I'd have a few more of those

LX Coupe here...dont really see many DXs out my way otherwise i would have gone that route...i was looking for as cheap as possible...with reliability and good looks

just brought home my 06 black on black si, soon to be tinted all around, blacked tails, sell the wheels and get some black ones and debadge it. oh also suede headliner and pillers cant stand the grey with all back inside ha ha

Mods in signature, Love the car and cant wait til a S/C kit comes out for it. Reason i bought the DX instead was cuz i knew from the start that id be slammin on aftermarket parts, therefor HFP, OEM crap didnt matter so i went with the basic model for this reason.
only thing now that bugs me is doin the rears brakes to discs, which is from the EX model, but i need to find one in a wrecker to strip the rear parts out of.

2006 EX Coupe... I'm actually not as fond of it as much as my old 95 DX Coupe, it really feels like a van in comparison, with much less zip.
The A/C _rapes_ the engine. A manual transmission with the A/C on under low speeds can be a frustrating task indeed....having to wind up well past 2.5k RPMs to avoid stalling or stuttering is ridiculous.
Other than the lifeless engine and handling, the FOV, electronics and interior are great, it's a comfortable ride to and from my sheeple activities. I couldn't imagine even wanting to mod a car like this, and I don't see myself doing it.
