yeah Im still here. I was on vacation for my 21st. Anyway. Its an 02. The silver was all done by me. Plastic paint at checker works great. Tranny mounts??? Maybe not sure if they survived or not. And I am fine. not a scratch. Otherwise I am waiting to get an estimate right now so I can collect some money from insurance.

yeah. It needs to be re-cleared due to some minor chips from rocks but it did not get messed up in the accident from what I can tell.

Dallis that sould not be a problem. See if you know anyone that will come to my house and do an estimate. That would be great. really would speed everything up.

header and downpipe-could be in good condition. not sure yet have not really cared to look but I will let you know.

Door panels I will let you know when I get the thing taken care of.

What do you need an estimate on? Your insurance should cover that... or the responsible parties insurance should have an adjuster to value the car.

well it was stolen and recovered so there is no resposible party, My insurance wants an estimate done for one reason or another and then they want to bring out an adjuster.

If your going to have an insurance guy come out, hes going to determin the amount that your check will be. If you want to keep the car, then hes going to write you a check minus the salvage vale. If you decide to keep it, I dont know if you will come out ahead, you'll end up with a bunch of parts that are broken and cant sell and will have to find a way to dispose of the chasis and such.

Oh, btw- I got my header and downpipe, so no worries.

Any plans for a new car? hope the vacation was awesome.

ok here is the update. The adjuster came today and said that clearly it was totaled. Anyway he said that I should take off what I want still but need to replace it with stock parts. So I will list what I have and if you have the stock parts and want to come over this weekend and take stuff off and put your back on feel free.

yeah, that stock parts thing sucks. I crashed my legacy in august, and it was 110+ out when I was at the junkyard. I just didnt feel like taking off my 1500 dollar brake kit and reinstalling another.... If I could have taken it off and left it, its sooo much easier.

That sucks. I feel your pain. But you got a new denali, I got a 12 year older car, and it blows!
