soda can fit perfect, bigger drinks a no-go
but i dont have that one anymore
i had it because i had the stock deck up top, aftermarket down low
with the face removed and the black panel, it wasn't visible that there was anything aftermarket
living in miami, especially in the neighborhoods i frequented, I wasn't quite ready to let people know i had a stereo worth thousands...

Actually, it wasn't very hard. Required cutting a bit behind there, there is a metal support that I notched out a little on the top, actually worked out great because it provided a little shelf for the HU to sit on. The rest is fiberglass and bondo, glazing putty, primer and paint. Dunkin Donuts Medium fit snugly in. Relocated due to a 7" screen fabbed into the stock location. I LOVED this location for the HU - It was so much easier to reach and less obtrusive. It was so comfortable and the Alpine had a nice tilt setting to it, looked right up at me. Actually, since I sold the Civic last year, I'll be selling this piece soon on Ebay or something probably w/ the HU included.
