Accelleration giving me the clicks

When I accellerate (usually right after shifting, but when I let off the gas and then push it again) I get a little clicking sound...is that bad? Hooo boy...

Is your car an EX Auto??? Because mine is kind of similar. Starting out in drive, and going between 0-7 mph's, i hear this clicky noise too.

Sounds like it could possibly be your cv-joints but I think they may only make noise when turning when they go bad. If it happens all the time, just take it to the dealer. Ya know, its funny how something will mess up all the time but when you get to the dealer is magically is ok...then we can't reproduce the problem so we can't fix it.

if its a sort of high pitched clicking sound and it only happens when you get off the gas and get back in it could be caused by something called "el Flexible". that's its name in Spanish, i'm not sure what the translation is but its a part of the car's exhaust and its job, amoung other things is to restict the sound. but in any case, i am assuming that you still have your stock exhaust. If you don't, disreguard what i just told you.

Nope, it's got a Magnaflow cat-back, but it was making that noise before I did anything to the exhaust. And also, it's a 5-speed.

This sounds like it could be the breakpad noise that has been talked about before.

Honda says they know about it, and that the owner should not worry about it. I guess it's kinds common in honda cars according to my dealership.

Basically I was told that there is some space between the breakpad and the callipor that hold it on, and the noise is just the pad shifting around when the car moves.

But I'm looking for the thread where someone posted the actuall letter that honda corp. sent out explaining how to get rid of the noise.
Anyone?

Mine just started making a similar noise since I put on my magnaflow. It is a clicking, sorta grinding sound, and I could smell something burning when I stepped out of the car. It started as a noise I only heard when turning right and accelerating, but now I'm hearing it during straight line acceleration. Doesn't feel or sound like it's the clutch. Should I take it to the dealer or is it something my ghetto magnaflow installation did?
