Ported Head
Ported Head
I have seen many have their head ported in DH Racing, so are they that good and how much is the gain after the port. What about DPR Racing as they should be one of the best too. And which stage to use for daily use, and is there other shops that do good porting but cheaper than those guys.
Thanks

hahaha DH is a joke and scam. i had their ported head and prolly lost hp. Had to spend all the money over again to replace it with stock because the gasket blew in a years time. the compression was so high when i checked i couldnt believe 200psi instead of stock 135. garbage.

Thank you for searching, but you misinterpreted the information severely. Their work was aweful at best. A lot of people lost power or gained very little, everyone had major problems. Look down the front page at Dezod's thread about head flow... he's got the right idea and I've talked to him at length about what he's got going on.... he's doing it the right way, and should produce some serious results when all is said and done. Wait for it...
That's very strange but what about their cars that won in races

I still don't get it. If they are so bad then how come many people do it there, then who is good maybe DPR.

I still laugh at nawz.......them shitz never gets old
They made pulleys that were never balenced....if you know how to tie your shoelaces then you know what kinda damage that can do to your motor.......trust us DH was banned and flammed from here long time ago.

Did it, past tense. No one sends anything there anymore. A lot of people got excited when someone decided they would fool around with this motor since those who do are few and far between. They did horrible work and wrecked a lot of peoples motors. Trust us on this one, its a 2 fold waste of money.
How come there are so many fast Honda work done by them.

They are a joke. Anything that they have or have done for someone else wasnt fine tuned by them I garantee. They probably just farm out the work to someone else. There fab and machining skills are grotesque at best. I honestly think they get involved with some of that stuff and have no idea what to do with it. They dodged every person in here when there were problems. Not a reputable place to spend money. You still can if you want though, dont cry about it here though, hehe.

So then buy it. What do we care its your wasted money. There's 6 or 8 of the more serious motorheads on here telling you its pure ****, including gearbox who got personally screwed. Want to do it anyways, go for it, but don't come back here in a month bitching about needing a new motor.

This is the answer that I got from the DH Racing owner
There is a few reasons one that is very old talk i think that some guys cant install heads correctly or adjust valves correctly there could be a number of reasons why
bottom line is i guarantee my work i do all of my head work myself now
i had a guy working for me i caught him taking short cuts a few years back
i also had a problem with a old machine shop this is why i do it all now by my self now
the old saying goes if you want it done right do it yourself so i do
im not interested in doing heads much anymore
i love doing them but only for the few people i feel deserve my work i know i have the best flowing honda heads you can get in America so i dont worry about people talking about me i have a lot of accomplishments i hold the current street car record and have made over 300 whp nobody has proven themselves like myself actions speak louder than words an old employee really hurt me by getting involved with the 7th gen im not ever interested in doing work for them ever again
as of now im not real interested in doing the work you might want to go to portflow tom is a good guy
