I have always run street tires and I have traction issues as well ... wacky 2.4 60' time, but I still manage a 14.2 at 1200 ft. elevation
if you must know the complete details.. car had complete 18in all around on some toyo proxies like i said earlier.. 2 12in subs and box with 3 amps where still sitting in the trunk.. i always get to lazy to take em out.. and my girlfirend always ride with me...
put it this way.. i have 23in slicks still brand new never used... the day i finally put those on is the day i take out the subs and amps and the girl gets the boot at the starting line.. lol

Rep Power: 0 Ive got a quick question about doing a K-swap, if on the 1/4 it will only pull mid 14's without boost or gas is it really worth doing it over b18 gsr? my friend here does 13.7 NA in his gsr integra so please excuse the ignorance but am i just expecting too much?

was his car gutted or full interior?
street tires or drag radials or slicks?
wat kind of mods does he have?
i ask this cause i ran the 14's with a passenger and subs in the trunk on street tires... and im guessing aznboysrfr is probably on the same track with using street tires.... but then again it all depends on ur mods too... all i got is an intake and exhaust...
to ask if a b18 is no better than a k20 is no comparison... if we had to integras exactly the same except one with a k20 and another with a b18 and both only had an intake and exhaust... k20 hands down would take it...
^^ based on what i've seen...they're on par. I've even seen some B18 swapped civics taking out k20 swapped civics. THere are minor differences between the B series and K series. B series can be built just as well as a K series.
Plus... I've heard several ppl boasting their K series (with I/H/E) times as being LOW 14s, but i've never actual vidoes or slips?f
