Painting valve cover
I'm going to use regular spray paint not high heat. and just put a clear coat over it. has anyone had a problem with regular? i know that someone had a problem with high heat chipping and not sticking to the plastic. i'm just gonna use regular spray paint
::cough:: spark plug cover ::cough::
edit : you should lightly sand the plastic with a fine fine sandpaper to prep the surface, there are a few threads on this but im way too lazy to search

I used engine paint that stands up to 500 degrees. Painting on the valve cover it doesn't chip but on the battery tie down, it does.
just remember to sand it first.. prime it second then .. sand it lightly again. then paint..
and about the paint u use.. i used the same paint called "plastic" not sure of the spelling but the paint in the DIY used for the interior of the car
had mines for half a year no problem
