is this possible
Sure an S2k engine could fit into a civic. You could fit alot of different engines into a civic. With an S2k engine it would need to be RWD, so everything would be custom and basically all that you would use from the civic is the shell. The problem is that by the time you spend all of the $ and time into completely altering everything on the car you could have bought and boosted and S2k. This is why it has never been done. If I owned my own giant CNC lathe capable of turning something as large as a driveshaft, had a junk civic laying around, could get an S2k engine cheap and could devote 1yr to the project I might give it a try. Then I think, "a K20a2 engine with hondata/I/h/e makes around 10 less whp, costs a ton less and can be done in a couple of weeks", and I kick my own a$$.

Yeah k swaps are still tryin 2 come out. B and H series are old! K series will not get old untill honda makes a new motor better then it. also if you were smart you could do a k24a1 block with a k20a2 head and eather boost it or go n/a and still be cheaper then the sk2 swap and u will have over 350whp and still be unique. everyone with a k swap is unique cuz its just such a beast

You can put a jet turbine ina 7thgen, a john deer tractor motor.......I thnk the AEM drag car has an NSX motor in it........you can put any motor in any car.........but K's fit, and work well and are putting out plenty of power for our cars.

i posted about this a long time ago. f20c has been mated to a k20 trans before. lots of customization involved and it was supposedly installed in a lotus. Some pics were circulating honda-tech at the time, but most peopled deemed them to be photochops. read all about it

^^^^^I don't think that is possible. You would be better just doing the K and then putting on Toda cams, rebuilding the bottom end to handle 9-10K rpms, and tunning it.
