Noob question
So I have discovered that my stock rear passenger speaker is dead. And to replace it, I will undergo the rear deck removal.
I actually have an extra set of speakers that match the current stock speakers that I purchased years ago for my last Civic that never got installed. I plugged them in and they work. So should I go through the effort of removing the rear deck to replace stock speakers with a stock speakers, or should I start planning an upgrade? I still have the stock deck and won't be replacing it for a while.
If you recommend to upgrade, please provide a set of speakers to upgrade to.
Thanks.

It doesn't work very well to go with aftermarket speakers on a stock HU. Removing the rear deck (I think anyway) isn't that hard, so if I were you (me being a cheap-skate), I would just throw the other stock speaker in for now...

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking the speakers I have would be the easiest, and cheapest, but if there was an alternative now would be the best time to do it.
Thanks again guys!
