indash jensen Anyone have any experience with this product Jensen VM9511TS or the vm9411. If so what did you guys think of the product. I found them for 399.99 to 799.00 is these unit a good buy.

circuit citys got those things all day for cheap
not a big fan of jensen though. i got some jensen subs in my truck in case the truck sinks it wont ruin expensive subs. they hit ok and the magnet is faily sizable, but the clarity blows. what kind of warranty does the HU have?

jensen sells the same rebranded crap as performance teckniques and one other low quality brand.
If you saw the jensen and a high quality brand (like panasonic) side by side you'll notice how sh!tty the picture quality is and how poor & distasteful the menu visuals are.
Save up for something you want, not something you have to settle for.

I've got the double din Jensen. And there is always going to be those who swear by the "good" "expensive" stuff. But I don't car about a a slight/unnoticable degredation in picture quality. I've got a modded XBOX hooked up to mine and the video is nice. It is by no means a bad head unit, there may be better ones, but they are a great buy imo. Panasonics are double the price, is that really worth it? Even if it is nice picture the one on the Jensens is fine. I don't need to see the pores on the actors when I'm watching a movie

Rep Power: 0 I've heard some good things about the unit. That how I became interested in the unit. Sh*t for the price I think its not that bad. Like shifoe said I dont want to see the pores on the people. I just want it to show desent and play music. I dont want a home threater system in my car. Where will you find a touch screen indash for 500 to 600.
The difference in picture quality is like watching tv shows on youtube and on DVD.
A used indash from a reputable company doesn't go for that much.
Hippiboy is selling my old Panasonic indash for less than the new Jenson.

it might be worth it to just spend a few hundred more for somthing that may be a little better.....but if you get it and you like it you should definately post some pics or somthing of it

Rep Power: 0 The difference is not that great, my friend has a pioneer flipout and compared to his there is a difference but it is not that great. Sure it has better picture but the Jensens is no where near bad. If you want the best quality go with a pioneer or an eclipse but if you're not rich or willing to dump that much on a HU then go for the Jensen it is good imo, and comes with a warranty so how can you go wrong?
