Can I Blow My Speakers Like This??
I have two 10" alpine type r speakers connected to a rockford fosqate class d amp and on the top the 6x9's I have some legacy speakers that my boy gave me so today I tried to connect another amp for the 6x9's and for some reason it was'nt working.... My question is can I connect the 6x9's to rockford fosqate amp? its a 2channel... yes or no?

-What resistance are the speakers? If they are all 4 ohms, yes you can if the amp is 2 ohm stable in stereo.
-Hopefully your 10's have a crossover, which wouldn't be good if you are feeding the signal to the 6x9's.
-Run the 6x9's off of your deck for now.
unless you use a cross over on full range, you would be using the 6x9s as subs, or the 10s as subs/mids, it sounds like your asking if you can connect the 6x9s to the same amp as the 10s, if thats what your asking, youll cut the power in half the the type-rs
nice subs btw, friend hit 158 Dbs off 2 of them
