just letting ya guys know that i am talking to a guy from importperformanceparts.net(flatlander racing) and told him that there is hardly any aftermarket support for the 7th gen and we need some good forged 8.5:1 comp. pistons. he's been communicating with me in a very timely manner and said his engineering dept is going to be making them in 75mm and 75.5mm bore. he said price would be $459/set. i'll let ya know when they're ready to be ordered. pm me if interested. my friend has a b series hatch and uses pistons from this company and runs 15-23psi(depending on his mood...hehe) all day long for about a year now with no probs.

thanks! i am trying my hardest to find a good company to make some rods for under 700!!! those were the cheapest i could find, which is way out of the price range i am willing to spend. can any of the big dawgs of this site use their infinite wisdom to fill out this request form for custom forged rods....hey its worth a shot!

they can make rods at any specs possible. maybe if its cheap enough, since they're a small private business, they will let us group buy and sell them cheaper.

well cheap might also mean CHEAP! If your Cheap rods cost 300 dollars and they break then you might as well just gone for crower 700 and done it right the first time. If you want a good price on rods go wtih Eagle. Try to get your guys to fit the d16 lsd into the d17

seriously, not to mention dezod has proven that he tests all of his equipment, as well as having customer service. Dezod has the reputation of knowing what he is doing, this place hasn't, from experience, its worth it to go with someone that know what they're doing. for all you know, the piston you are ordering could be popsickle stick with coffee can bottoms.

I just hope for your sake (the customer) they are knowledgable about the D17, understand it fully and provide a good product with excellent support like we do.

I think anyone who I have helped, boosted or spoken to can vouch for my D17 knowledge because I too was an owner of one for 3 almost 4 years.

Here it is guys....the pistons are done! here is the number for the sales dept. 603-378-0090...they come in stock bore and .5 over, and by the way, wiesco is the manufacturer....and their customer service is top notch, very responsive!! this will be my last post as i got a SWEET deal on a 90 TII RX-7....$1500!!!! turbo, intercooled, rwd, independent suspension, and already has lsd...it will be my 4th one, hehe!! good luck on your projects...peace.
