seatbelt making sounds
Whenever I'm cruising on the highway and open the windows I hear an annoying whistle made by the seat belt. It's just from the part where the seatbelt emerges from the post to the the other part. This is happening when i'm at 60-80. Anyone else have this happening? Or is this the 2k1 or only me?
try moving your seatbelt, it is caused by the airflow over the belt. My toyota used to do this but i moved the seat back a click and that repositioned the belt enough to stop it
It's a quirk as a result of the design on most coupes. Because of the aerodynamics there is really no way to get rid of it. It's catching hold of the wind. the front window opening is so large that it takes in a lot of wind and the seat belt acts like a "whistle". You really can't do anything about it. Although, I have the same problem and have had no success in stopping it myself. I've tried moving the seat around and it did nothing.
