Wiring Harness Question
Wiring Harness Question
I have an Eclipse deck that I bought from my friend who had it in his 2001 prelude sh.
There are 2 plugs on the wire kit (longer white clip and a shorter white clip)
I just bought a 2003 civic lx coupe.
Is the one I have compatible with all year hondas or will I have to get a different wire harness??

Honestly. Your best bet would be to play it safe than sorry. I don't believe that there is a universal wire harness for Hondas, but you'd be better off goin to an audio shop or Best Buy/Circuit City and just picking up another one. It's going to cost a bit more but you'll know for a fact that it's gonna work once you plug it in.
only problem is, its a indash with ALOT of wires...it was custom wired to fit a honda....he had it in his 01 prelude and i had it in my 94 accord...it worked fine...i just cant rewire the whole thing...the brain and external amp....man what a headache that would be. LOL
thank you...thats what i thought i can just try it out and see if it works...sucks the stock cd player doesnt work...well the radio works but the cd player has a cd stuck in it and when i hit the cd button it doesnt do anything...lol what a pain in the butt
