thats hwy robbery. lol
turbo kit-2to3k
aem ems-1200
instalation-1k at the most
dyno-400to500
3 inch exhaust-800

might as well swap in a k-series motor

yeah i retract my earlier statment, i guess it does all ad up, but i seriously think you could do a nice k20a3 swap for that. Then again its your car and your money so do what you please

$7000 canadian = 6,175.79 USD
turbo kit should be around $3000
an AEM ems costs like $1500
custom exhuast should be around $250
thats $4750 USD just for the parts you'll need.
tax would also be a couple hundred bucks.
the installation and tuning really depends on where you go, but if you can afford to do that, i'd go for it. this also includes peace of mind, knowing that if anything happens, the shop will be responsible for the damages. but with that much money, i'd go with a motor swap. that way you dont have to worry about the motor blowing due to turboing an NA motor.

My personal breakdown would be like this.

turbo kit $3,200 usd / 3,626 cad
ems $1,600 usd / 1,813 cad
3" exhaust (depending on material, bends) $500 usd / 566 cad
installation varies, ill say $600 usd / 679 cad
dyno/tuning varies, ill say $400 usd / 453 cad

total 6300 usd, 7137 cad

If after that price, they will give you back your car running boosted perfectly, it's really not that bad.

Vantage should not be trusted
Civic 2003 where do u live? ( im in canada too)
If u live near Vancovuer BC, contact DCP turbo.

Seems a little high tho, maybe $1000 high,

A friend of mine got one done at DCP, not on AEM tho, for $4500 installed and dyno'd.

We have a turbo kit for you to install. It's $3200, and if you go through our international dealer, turbokits.com and ask for Jesse, he may be able to help you on a package deal, delivered to your door. Then all you will need is a tuner, and Fountain Motorsports in T.O. is great.

jesse@turbo-kits.com

Tell him Paul at Dezod sent you.

Installing a Turbo is a lot easier than you think. The hardest part for a beginner is the oil return line tap. You have to weld it into the oil pan but other than that is pretty dam simple. I wouldn't pay to get a turbo installed and I installed my turbo when i was 17 and before this i had only installed bolt ons

I thought tunning for ems was at least like $600.
That is just about right if it comes with a few guauges.
If you wont do the install I would do a swap. k20a2 or k24.
But then again you could have a faster car with that amount of money if you were to install your own turbo.

Honestly unless your a crazy *** like me than go swap. If not then turbo it and start buying **** to build up the motor and then you can have 300whp but k20a2 is easier to get 300whp with anything you do. I just love my turbo and my sohc it doesn't cost **** to blow up and fix.

I'm from Toronto.

Here is breakdown (USD) for this very nice high end set up:
T-kit - Dezod (t3/t4 turbo)- 3200.00
AEM EMS (w/injectors) - 1800.00
Install - 600.00
Tuning - 600.00
Exeedy Clutch w/install & flywheel resurface - 600.00
Other small bits - 200.00
--------------------------------------------
$7000.00 USD ~ $8000.00
+ shipping + duty + taxes

My, does well at everything, set up (USD), :

TSI t25 turbo kit - 2600.00
Exeedy Clutch installed and resurfaced - 600.00
Missing Link - 60.00
Plugs - 50.00
Extra tools - 100.00
Install - free (2 weeks, 1st time, part-time)
Other (duty, tax, misc.) - 600.00
-----------------------------------------------
$4910.00 USD ~ $6500.00 CDN (1 year ago exchange rate)

Some parts can be found at cheper cost, this is just a ballpark estimate.
