dkid15 is an unknown quantity at this point
Arp's have to be from a d16z6. I wouldnt reccomend the block guard because it restricts the flow of coolant i hear.

gmcuajo can only hope to improve
The block guard isn't junk. Yes it restrict the flow of coolant, but if you are with a high boost turbo setup or nitrous, the open deck of the engine can't support that extra power. That's why you need a block guard, to avoid the movement of the cylinder bores. Otherwise you don't need it. What some people do is opening the holes a little bit for better flow.

The D16 valves fit oin the D16.

well I have a NOS wet nitrous kit currently jetted for a 75 but can bump down to 35, but I'm thinking of going with stage a 3 cam someone is selling, and poss. higher compression pistons if the price is right...
