CD-IB100ii Pioneer ipod adapter
I have currently have my pioneer ipod adapter being mailed to me right now. It should arrive sometime later this week.
I have an installation quick about the adapter. It has 2 wires, one yellow (which I assume is battery), and the other black wire (which should be ground).
I just wanted to know if its ok to hook up wire to battery wire connected to my wiring harness on my deck. I should be ok with doing that??? right?? or do I need to find another wire to power the ipod adapter??
Same question for the ground wire. Can I just use the same ground that's on my wiring harness, or should I find a seperate ground for the ipod adapter, and a seperate ground for the deck. I know its probably better to find a seperate grounding location, but I should be ok with the same grounding wire?? yes??
This probably useless post for me, but I just want to make sure I'll be ok.
TIA, Phu.

yes the yellow is power (constant 12volt+) and the black is ground. that I-Pod unit only has a 2 amp fuse, meaning it doesn't draw too much power, so , i say you should be fine, cause i'd say your headunit draws between 4-7 amps, and your headunit fuse is good for 10 amps.
