are all ex's supposed to come with rims?

Guess what? in manila, they come with alloy wheels and complete sound package. when they say loaded, it means they already have a premium sound system (kenwood mps player to be exact) and alloy wheels. A/C is standard. Civics don't rattle in that side of the planet, though they have a much smaller engine.

why pay extra money for rims most aren't going to use. anyone who buys an ex has some kind of performance in mind. this includes larger wheels. if you want alloy rims the dealer will put them on for you. i'd rather have the cheap wheels and hubbcaps for winter, and a nice set of 17"s for the summer. if you drive on alloys all year they look like dog A$$ in the spring.

Rep Power: 0 << nope only HX gets rims in the US. canadian SI's (almost the same as the US EX) get rims standard. EX gets 15" steel wheels >>
In addition, those 15" aluminum rims found on the Canadian spec Si are carried-over to both the US spec Si (3-door hatch) and CDN SiR (3-door hatch). You'd think that for a hot/hatch Honda would invest some money in larger rims for Si/SiR hatch, especially when competing with vehicles such as Ford Focus SVT and VW GTi.

Rep Power: 0 Alright all EX's come with vtec, EXCEPT the one my neighbor bought, I looked under the hood it did not have the VTEC plug cover and the sticker did not say 1.7liter vtec etc... She said she test drove an EX with vtec but the one she bought did not have it at all, she could tell the difference when she drove it.

if it is an ex the easiest way to tell is if it has a oem moon roof. if not she bought a dx and someone put a ex label on the trunk.
