i got this damn rattle from the back deck in my 01 sedan, and i cant figure out what it is or how to fix it, got my trunk and liscence plate to stop rattling, just not the rear deck.... any suggestions???

if you mean from the system dyna mat the trunk, that should do it unless you have a spoiler like me whose spoiler rattles no matter how much 3m tape i put under it, that or I am just being retarded and something is loose

My rear deck wouldn't stop rattling so I took everything apart (for the 4th time) and put spongey weatherstripping across the back of it where it meets the window. Then I took out the middle seatbelt because it was rattling too and it's never used. No more rattle for me.

Best thing to do is turn up the bass and listen to whats rattling. Press down on the rear deck, brake light, seatbelts, whatever till you figure it out what's rattling then fix it. And if you've taking it apart before....make sure all the white clips are securing the deck down and aren't broken or missing.

cool, ill have to check it out when its light out, i think that one of my deck speakers is rattling too, because there is a screw missing, but ill check out the weather stripping idea too, cuz i cant stand the rattle, since i got 1800 watts pushing two twelve inch fosgate punch subs, so i may just have too much power (if thats possible). thanks for all the help peeps, much love to the 7thgeners!

yea i got 2 L7's in the back and just matted the whole trunk. helped out a great deal and now the rear deck rattles like crazy. i can literally see it moving up and down
