AEM OE Brake Upgrade Question

Will this upgrade fit in 16" wheels? Does anyone have these? thanks

I'm pretty sure that MooCow has them. I dont know about anyone else though.

i would but there isn't an email address on their entire site.. there's a groupbuy on these babies going for around 375 i think... it's a decent price i guess.. i just want to know if it's worth it..

If you read carefully it states that 17" and bigger rims are required. www.aempower.com. Why don't you get some Brembo ventilated and cross-drilled rotors. I have Brembo's, they work great and they also look tight!!!

They should since they don't have an asterisk next to our application which reccomends 17" wheels. What kind of 16" wheels do you have? Some have a smaller inside diameter than others. The ones that tend to have a smaller inside diameter are the ones that are inset with a polished lip.

The only ones that acutually require 17's or larger are the Big Brake Kits, the OE ones don't say anything about size recommendation.. i have Motegi MR7's grey.. Here is what the clearance looks like now..



I'm thinking it can't be that much bigger than stock right? I wish i could email someone about this.. aem doesn't have any email addresses posted..

No, yours look fine. You have what looks like more than an inch on each side. This should be more than enough to fit the AEM big brake upgrade. If you're still unsure I think you can call them or the place that sells their products to find out for sure.

damn wha if i got 17 inch rimz in the summer but i gotta throw on my stock 15 inch rimz in the winter?
the aem break kit wont work for me then since the 15s are too small for it?? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

YES it will fit,,,,we just installed one on my boys ride and he has 16's
