Cracked Exhuast Manifold
Cracked Exhuast Manifold
2001 LX Sedan 5spd
Ok, so my exhaust manifold (converter as Honda calls is) is cracked way bad and is making my car sound like a clunker. I've tried to braze it, but it just keeps growing. I'm going to order a new manifold from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and replace it.
Just a quick question, do I need to get a new gasket for it? I might as well cause they're cheap.
Thanks.. utahbmxer

Yes you need a new one. If you're in an emissions state, get an official record of the fact that you're having the converter replaced due to a failure of the previous converter.
