05 EX SE rear speaker wiring colors?
Hello, i have a 2005 Civic Ex SE and am trying to put a sub and amp in the trunk. As you know, the Special Edition deck does NOT have RCA outputs that I would lead to the amp, so I must use the speaker high level inputs on the amp. My question regards the color of positive and negative wires. The passenger side rear speaker has PINK and BLUE/YELLOW, and the driver side rear speaker has BLUE/BLACK and BLUE/WHITE. Neither speaker, nor plastic wire harness has "+" or "-" signs so i don't know how to wire the amp.
My next question regards what others have used in the truck as a remote wire to tap into for the amp. my only thought is to tap into the trunk light or third brake light, any ideas? I wanted to use a extra fuse spot in the fuse panel under the hood, but i don't think any are open and on constantly.

I recently installed a system in my car, keeping the SE head unit. I used a 9V battery to find which terminals on the speakers are + and -. If the speaker pushes out, + is hooked to +. If the speaker pulls in, - is hooked to +. And I used wire taps to tap into them.
As for the remote wire, I tapped into the cigarette lighter, because it gives you +12V when the key is turned to acc.
