turbo oil pressure help

Quick question for the turbo guys. What is your oil pressure at idle. ?
Stock mine use to around 10 to 15, and now mines running about 2 to 4 with 5-20 syntec castro with the turbo being on. Trying to figure out if i need a new oil pump. running and boosting the oil pressure is fine, goes all the way up into the 80, just idleing has me alittle worried.

Let me know what your oil pressure is at idle.
Jeff

Could be a lot of stuff, not enough oil, blown rings/ringlands, bad turbo seal, bad bearings... who knows. I wouldn be driving too much with a 2-4 psi idle pressure, something in there is not healthy.
Whats the oil temp? 5-20 sounds pretty thin for turbo apps.
Whats the crusing on the highway pressure at 70ish?

My idle is at about 16. I get worried when it dips down to 12, at 4, I'd be shitting a brick.

ok question, I have an oil restrictor inline to the turbo. This oil sensor is on the same oil feed line as the oil restrictor but is before the turbo and restrictor. I disconnected the oil from the turbo today and hooked up the gauge just like stock and it read 8 psi at idle. 10 is sopost to be normal from what the honda service book says. So im thinking now maybe the castro syntec 5w20 is to thin. After driving a while the old pressure drops to 2 with the turbo hooked up. Im thinking about trying 10w30 since thats what we run in the turbo integra we built. What your opnions before i rip the oil pump out and replace it with a new one.
