I'm thinking of getting one of them and swapping in a b18c, turbo etc. Probably going to give the 7thgen away too. I know the 5th gen is lighter, but the 6th gen is newer, I would probably have to deal with less wiring problems regarding obd1/obd2 issues. Which of the 2 would you guys prefer?

well i have a 93 coupe and i swaped a 2000 b16 into it and all i did was re pin the dissy
and from what i heard tuning for a turbo is a lot easer with obd1 that obd2
if you have never heard of it go to hondaswap.com and check out their sight lots and lots of info on turboing and tuning and they are all layed back and willing to help

thanks for the input guys. ^^wouldnt that be fixed with an aftermarket suspension set up though? i prefer the looks of the ej6, but the eh3 seems better performance wise because of its weight advantage. i dont know, i seem to be leaning towards the 6thgen because its obd2 and i heard it has a slightly bigger engine bay

I would go with a eg6 hatch, since they are so light and looks good. I also want one myself.

my friend had 2 of them. at the same time. he sold one and is selling the other. its so nice. cf hood and trunk. gsr interior, tyc projectors. full bodykit. 18s. too bad ur in canada...

i'd rather start with a stock car and build it up how i like it in terms of swaps, i heard its easier on th 96-00 because it has a bigger engine bay, is that true?

Not sure about that^. The EG engine bay is pretty big for what's in there; all the engine components are easily accessible. It'd be an easy thing on either platform imho.

the engine buy on the eg and ek are the same i think i used stock 93 sohc mounts when i did the dohc vtec swap
