Well the K20a2 does infact fit into the civic engine bay
. I know that it has been done many times, but trust me upon aproach you begin to wonder. Well it is 3:15am and I just put the last bolt in the subframe. I have to work at 7:00 am. I love DIY swaps

honey what is that little red light in the corner of the room.
OK, OK LOL I will take some pics and post them
The engine went in from the top. I had problems clearing the ABS and the tranny mount bracket. I had to lower the tranny side alot and lower it in at an extream angle.
Yes those are the parts that I have in my sig. I will take some pics, but as those of you who have done it can attest it is a long enough process and sometime taking pics and documenting is the last thing on your mind.

one thing that I did notice is the RSX subframe bolts up just like the civic except for these two brackets that use to attach to the old subframe don't have a home. What have others done with these two brackets?? do I need them?? (you can see them circled when you double click.)
^^^^Funny, how you did not say if it was correct or not LOL
. How did you do your fuel lines? I am to cheap to pay for the rsx ones from the dealer so I am going to use goodyear fuel injected line hose, the d17 clip on the fuel line and a fuel line hose clamp on the rail. I am going to try to get the line on the rail over the bead and then clamp it, but I am still a bit concerned about leaking.

The clip that goes to the fuel rail was broken on my engine. To get a new clip you have to by the entire lines. So based on your experiance do you think a clamp will work. I can't have it leaking because I wrapped my header. That fvcking thing would be a gaint wick if gas got on it.
BTW the Rsx radiator was a bit harder to fit in my car (required a small amount of cutting). The ECU was insanley hard to remove, and I wish that I would have removed the dash. I honestly was begining to think that you had David Blane helping you with you swap LOL

yea.. i know i mentioned it somwehre.. dont know.. but the EP and RSX radiator will fit perfect especially if you have a body kit.. but may require some trimming around the bumper area if u still have the stock bumper..
haha.. with the right tools i pulled the ecu out in 5 minutes.. u just gotta know what to take out... the hard part is figuring out how to put the ecu back in....lol
oh hey.. if u are using kpro.. connect the usb wire to the back of the ecu before putting the ecu back in... and tuck the wire somewhere to have easy acces... or else u wont be able access ur ecu unless u pull it out to connect it again.. FYI

What did you take out to have more access to the ECU?? The thing that is in my way is the support bar that goes accross. Is there a good way?

As far as time to completion A LOT. I am a perfectionist, and do everything right. I will say that it is easier than the STI into a 98 Legacy swap that I just helped with (we did all of the wiring).

remove the 2 clips that hold ur glove box up... till it looks like this.

then remove the screw on with the arrows so the entire glove box comes off..
that will give you tons of room to play with

Yep, that is what I did. That damn bar is still really in the way though. I guess just work it until it goes into place though. Or come on man, you could give me David Blane's # and he could help me too. LOL
oh.. haha.. i know what u are talking about. i had to dremel off the side tabs on the ecu so i could shove it straight in... when u do the ecu wires face inside the cabin and the usb wire is in the back
