Wheel Hop, Loud Bang
Last week, I had a carful, two in front and back of my EX coupe...It was wet out, I went to pull away from a stop sign, cars were coming so I gassed it....I got some terrible loud banging, and wheel hop, IS THIS NORMAL? The car seems fine....didnt seem to hurt it any, just never heard that before or felt it...

Rep Power: 0 Not really normal, but chances are it was just the strut bottoming out when it hopped. Plus the chassis takes a nice jolt when this happens. Hopefully you didn't break a tooth off one of the gears. As long as you are shifting fine I wouldn't worry.
