how long do copper plugs last

i've had my ngk v-power for 6k miles so far. i planned to change it every oil change (5-6k), but they are still going strong. is there a recommended interval to replace?

I think it really depends on the vehicle/engine. I'm pretty sure most say 30k on copper. I see no reason to go over that on our cars since the plugs are easy to change, and copper plugs tend to be cheap.

Have been using copper for 45K in start stop traffic and they are still fine. Anyway copper is cheap and changing them every oil change is just right. New copper always "feel" better.

if you change your plugs every 5-6K then you're just wasting your money.

I had my oem plugs in till just about a month ago when I turned 50,000 miles. I changed to bosch platinum 4's I really like them, and nowhere near as expensive as those iridium.
