i think i got a serious problem... wheel, axle, rotor assembly is loose? HELP ASAP!!
hey guys. well today i just put in my new brembo blanks drilled/slotted rotors with some new PBR brakes pads
its pretty sweet. i had this terrible noise before which i thought were my pads and rotors since i ran down my pads all the way down to the metal previously, so i bought these. i noticed while doing the job that my passenger side front wheel, axle, and rotor assembly is like loose, the knuckle stays in place but everything else described moves. when you jack up the car nothing is supposed to be loose. the driver side is as solid as a rock, i tried wiggling that side and no luck. basically i can shake my entire wheel around with the rotor and the axle moving along with it like giving it some positive and negative camber. this seems like a serious problem to me
... i looked at the spindle nut on the passenger side and it looked way loose compared to the driver side because earlier i replaced a stud on the drivers side. could this be the problem or is it a more serious problem? i still get a very bad sounding metal to metal kind of noise when i drive around... sorry if i answered my own question but i searched and didnt find nothin....

oh is that spindle nut a 36 or 38 mm? and how do you tighten it effectively? i tried tightening it but the axle keeps on spinning with the nut...
???? -.- no help? i really need help! my new rotor is gettin ****ed up too!

Replace the spindle nut with a new one and torque it down to 134ft lbs. To tighten it you need to put the wheel on with the center cap out, set it lightly on the ground Then put a 32mm socket on the spindle nut. Do NOT drive the car with it loose you can do serious damage...
