(the HP and Torque that this is missing from the other 2 options can be made up with bolt on performance parts, so im not to worried about the HP and Torque diff.)

If you need to be fully legal, you have to go with "option 2".
It is OBD II (for emission test) and you'll be able to find an engine out of 1999+ year car.

well you best performance option would have been the b16a. the reason for this is the have a better rod ratio than the b18's and can rev higher with out running the risk of putting a rod through the cylinder wall. the ideal rod ratio is 1.75 and the b18 is a 1.5-1.52. this means you have a lower redline than a b16a will. that can account for alot when trying to make max power out of a motor

Looks like it's a moot point, seeing as how he's already purchased a B18C. Congratulations.

yeah i know about the rod thing but thats only a factor when you're racing hard regularly and you're a tunning freak....(which is not bad at all, i know a few and their cars are SWEEEET)

i am using this as a daily driver and doing an ocassional hiway race.......

thanks jester for the congrats......thanks family car for your 2 cents.....
