I have heard mixed reviews about them. Supposedly they are great in the dry, but in the rain they are not too good at any considerable speed.
Who cares, just slow down a bit in rain and be careful.

i have them in 205/55/15. they're great when its dry and ok in the rain. i usually do 70-80mph on my way to work rain or shine and they're amazing. best thing is they're only like $15 more a piece than the Falken Ziex 512s that i used to have on. just be sure to pay attention to your driving when in the rain and youll be okay.
yokohama ES100s are amazing! They're very sticky and what I like the most about 'em is the price. They're not too expensive at all and come in various sizes. Other tires are very limited to certain profiles. But my absolute favorite street tires have to be the toyo T1-Rs and the T1-S! They're flawless! Here are my ES100s in 245/40/18

Anyone who's had better tires will say they suck. Anyone who jumps from something like Wanlis will say they're awesome.
Bottom line is they're a good bargain performance tire. They're not very stiff, which is what kills their turning responsiveness, but the compound is pretty good albeit a bit hard. They're fine in the rain, I never had an issue with hydroplaning, but they got really noisy as they wore.
