2002 EX coupe: Tumbling/clicking while turning right
2002 EX coupe: Tumbling/clicking while turning right
What’s up guys...?
My sister just acquired a 2002 civic EX, which seems to be a pretty decent car except one issue that has gotten my attention. When turning right (and only right) the front-end makes a tumbling noise. She describes it as a 'rubber band' noise. I think it sounds like loose chunk of bondo stuck inside the body tumbling around. The noise is only associated while in gear, and only while turning right. My initial thought is a U/CV joint. The car runs fine, no grenading or anything.
I did a search and it appeared that I may be correct, that it is a driveshaft issue. What are your thoughts?
