Front type r upper grill - painting

i was wondering how i should paint my new grill i have several choices. which is the best choice?
1. oem touch up paint (got it direct from honda)
2. buy color matched paint spray
3. f**k it just leave it black

1. If you leave it black it'll look kinda cheap and really ghetto.

2. Touch up paint? What about the clear coat? That's alot of touch up paint.

3. Spray paint color match....sounds like a better idea than the last 2

4. Howbout....you take it to a body shop and have them paint it the color (exact) of your car. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] It'll look the best that way.

hmm.. does it blend in with the OEM color your car has? I havent seen one of those grills in person, really want one bad though when i get the wings west aggressor front bumper.. post some pix if you can when your done dude.

spdrcrchk: take it to a body shop they'll take an arm and a leg..... but it sounds like i'll be doing the color match spray paint thanks for the input

black: look under parts and look up altezza grille and you'll see it, gl man

Take it to a body/paint shop, it's better to have it done right the first time then to keep f'ing with it later

neither dupli-color nor plasti-kote carry an exact match for satin silver metallic [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

tekniq said it cost him $70 to get it painted and color matched. is it just me or is that highway robbery?

If you can find a color to match Id do it youself, but before spray painting I would use an adhesion promoter like Bulldog, then plenty of clearcoat

I got the carbon fibre coloured grille, no need to paint it, and it looks wikkid...

There's one here. I was thinking of getting it too, but didnt know if I should get this or a regular one and paint it Silver for my SSM Sedan.
