Vaccum Manifold Install (w/ pics)
Vaccum Manifold Install (w/ pics)
To save some pointless replys, YES i know how dirty my engine bay is, YES im going to clean it this weekend and YES i obviously winter drove my car..
So anyway Installed my vaccum manifold today after hearing about some other boosted d's having vaccum issues that were resolved with vaccum manifolds, so i figured i would go for it. Install is easy, car runs great...would put in a few pics for the newbs here
Oh and I still need to take a trip to western hydrolics to buy some proper clamps for what i have done today, and all of my IC piping instead of these sitty clamps.
Here is is

hondo to answer your question, instead of teeing off your vacume sources for the wastegate, bov, boost gauge and boost controller you can buy a manifold like this to a) maintain a steady pressure level across all outlets and b) clean up all of the vacume lines
oh and by beardie he means my lizzard

I would drill out all theholes before you get to far with the install. reason being you will get alot of metal in the vacum manifold. Summit sells plugs that fits the holes. SO drill all of them out and plug the holes. And when needed you unscrew the plug and install your fitting.
Thats what i did, makes it 100 times easier.
