Is there any factory installed amps on this civics like most other cars got because i'm
hearing that if there is it's going to be really hard to deal with if changing to an aftermarket
system.

ummm? that made no sense. what we have in the civic is a factory Headunit, which has an amp in it, but if you put a system in your gonna swap the headunit anyway. you'll have to add an amp if you want subs, or if you want really high quality sound to come out of your speakers (2 amps ideally, 1 for the subs, one for the speakers). You should do some research on how systems work, before you put one in, becuase if you go into a car audio shop with your level of knowledge you'll probably get ripped off.

herbalus: listen to Mohawk, he knows his stuff. no, our car doesn't have a factory amp like some cars with "premium" sound systems have. we just have the stock headunit as the amp. peace.

naw i dont need any parts just wanted to know about the factory system and how much work it's gonna be
guess it's gonna be pretty basic.....

how i gotta get some wires...i just ripped out the system from my other car needed to do it quick and left all the wires
in the car......took the hardware tho ......

wonder where a good spot around here that i can get all the wiring that i'm going to need.?/?
