yes, at 6:50am while going to class I had my yellow headlights on, cop saw me and turned on his lights pulling me over and i knew it was gonna be a fix it ticket. He gave me a ticket for exhaust and yellow lights and asked me "why you have yellow headlights?" Im like uhmmmm cuz i can see better? "Is your engine modified?" No! "Your car is lower than stock". I got really pissed when he said that!! Im like, Oh hell nah you aint gonna give me a ticket for lowered vehicle in my mind. I LOVE COPS!!!!!!

on a sidenote: I've had my headlights yellow for months now and have driven from TJ to vegas and all over LA and haven't had a problem. I do know that it is illegal but if/when i ever do get pulled over...i wont bitch about it. most likely i'll just put it back to stock setup

Nope, the exceptions are that when you are standing in front of the car,
1. Rear sidemarkers can show red.
2. Foglights has to be white to yellow.
3. Any other light that projects toward the front (like parking lights) has to be white to yellow and any other light that projects toward the rear that can be seen from the front has to be red (except turn signals and reverse lights). No illegal lights like sirens and such.

Problem is that the Vehicle Code only states that it can be yellow but there are so many yellows.
I've been given a fix-it ticket because the officer said my lights were "too yellow."
I guess every officer has his/her own definition of yellow?

that was just a case of a cop being an *** because i have friends who have been rolling on yellows for months and i am rolling on blue hids.
after u get the ticket signed off just put them back on
