Ok so i have been recently changin gout my Rims for my old stock ones cause the tread was getting a lil low. So i change um out about 4 days ago, now all the sudden i hear a clanking noise like metal on metal. So i get out and look and i have but 3 lugs nuts on the drivers side front wheel. i go down stairs to get an extra lug and lone and behold, the screw that the lug nut is supposed to go on has been sheered off. What do i do ? What do i need to get new? THANKS!

u have to replace the stud. are you saying it broke off after being put on? I never heared of that happening
They are #20 on here http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...y5=FRONT+BRAKE
It looks like u have to pull the hub to put the new one in so its prolly best for a shop to do it.

Air tools are responsible for stripping/breaking more lugs and bolts than anything else out there. No one uses a torque wrench, they just hammer the bolts on.
I'm sorry, but I don't allow anyone with an impact gun near my car. Shop strips studs due to too high a setting on their stupid gun, shop claims studs were "bad already", shop charges customer for replacement of studs that "they" broke.
Been there before. I hate those things. They are fast, they are great for taking things apart, but they can also cause nothing but trouble. I have air tools, but I don't run them at 180 PSI!!!

^^ exactly i also have pretty much everything I want and need as far as air tools (except an air ratchet). I really don’t use them tho because they are hard to get into tight place which there is a lot of on this car.
you should always use a trq wrench to put your lugs on. if you over tighten them you can warp your rotors and cause vibrations in the front end. anytime i have any work done its at a trusted shop if i dont do it myself and i make sure they trq everything to spec. he could have also over tightened the bolt and stretched it that is why it sheered off
