Did you retard your timing w/ NX kit????
also how much did your kit run you???? or what do you have??
bottle heater,auto open, safety gauge,,,,
and how long did the process take to install,,,,
the honda tng, mag said like 10 hours,,,,,,that sounds like a long time......is the wiring that bad???
sorry for so many questions......any help would be nice.

i did not retard my timing. it is not necessary with a NX kit. i think i paid like $520 for the complete kit, bottle gauge, and a set of zex plugs. other than the gauge, i have a NOS heater and purge kit. $119 shipped for the heater from www.summitracing.com. i got the purge kit from a local shop for $100. it shouldn't take ten hours to install. especially since there is a DIY. it didn't take me 10 hours and i didn't have any guide. the wiring is not difficult at all. the hiding of the wires and such for the "clean" look is what's time consuming.

theres lots of info on this, but here goes.. a wet kit mixes nitrous and fuel, a dry kit uses just nitrous. you can only use one type of kit in our cars, the other wont work (i think its the dry kit that we can use, but i cant remember for sure, plus im half asleep, someone confirm this)
rofl, awesome thanks a mil for that info, im off to a good start .
So lemme follow up.. Our cars may only use one of the two [dry or wet, which one we dont know yet, but the wrong one will blow up the engine I believe I was told, someone correct me if wrong, lol.] I also know more then 100 shots should not be attempted, due to detonation aswell...
Would a zex kit work then? I think its dry? And cant any kit be used.. as long as you adapt it correctly? I'm still a little confused, call me stupid but.. can a car really run on pure nitrous and no fuel? lol
eek.. thanks for the info diznavis. May anyone else help, thanks in advance to you aswell too then.
