Updated pics of the open wheel racer...
well, i did some more chopping today...
Here are some progression pics. Not much, but definately progress. I'm going to try to work the driver side of the core support tomorrow and then start around the strut tower on thursday.

got some more done. still need to paint everything gray. the core support is going in monday.
so far, i've done everything myself except the welding. I'm going to be doing some learning with the welder on monday and try my luck...

did some more work and forgot to take pics. oh well. i drove the car today. drives fine. I need to put the new tie rod in and align the bitch...plus get some body caulk and fill in the spaces around new welded points.
oh yeah......and among other things, I need a new fender, headlight, hood, and sand the bumper down.

I got the fender, headlight, and bumper on. banged the hood with a hammer til it fit...for now.
aligned perfect. nothing out of the green.
drove it home tonight with no problems

Kinda hard to tell...especially since everything is different colors. everything is lining up well. I have a little body work needed on the door which i'm going to attempt in the next week. the bumper definately needs to be sanded and at least primed. I need to pull the passenger headlight apart and black it out.
and the hood is the one i had on when i wrecked. haha. i went at it with a hammer until it fit so i could get home and not have to rely on other people for rides to work.
still much more to do, but some serious progress has been made.
