K-Swap Completion!!!!!!
Wow! What an arm and a leg this swap has cost me. I would however, gladly give up my other arm and leg to do it all again. The k-series is a "night and day" difference between the d-series. The L.S.D. is by far the most beneficial modification I could have done. The only minor issues I am having are with the PRC ECU stil having the immobilizer key light remaining on. I thought this didn't exist on that ECU. I also have an exhaust leak I am fixing today with a new gasket until I can afford to purchase a new exhaust system and header. Well anyway, the point of the thread is to let you guys know it is completed and I am will be joining you guys at the 7thgen meets.

Be sure get the car passed the state bar, Assuring that it meets smog requirements and then you'll get the I'm leagal with a swap sticker, Like the user Hondalouver!

if you have a k20a2, there is no LSD ... unless you put one in your tranny.
I recommend you get a prb ecu ASAP!! ... the prc ecu is gonna make your car run funny due to the advanced timing and different fuel map/ecu programming ...
almost sounds like you got the type r swap ... not the type s. you got a type s, right?

In regards to your post, I purchased a Type-R LSD separate and had it installed. I have the PRB ECU, however it needed to be flashed to the car in order to run, so I put in my buddies PRC ECU for time being. I am planning to switch the ECU back the PRB as quickly as possible. Yes I did purchase the K20a2 for my car. For all, I will have pics as soon as I fix the minor issues with the car, and MOST importanly........Wash it! Thanks guys!

Rep Power: 319 i think it did if i remember correctly reading from the honda japan website that it said LSD in big letters for the type S and not just the Type R but than again it coulda been a bad translation where saying the type R had it but not the type S
they talk about the LSD here
but that is for the type r ... the type s pages don't have any mention ... I think it would be something worth mentioning if they included it.
I could be wrong, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt it if they put one in the base models ...

Rep Power: 0 My D17a2 is blown, but if you want it, it is all yours for the price of: FREE. Just pick it up from the shop assuming you want it blown, since I have no idea what your "secret" project is.
The mods on my em2 consist of RS-R Springs, RSX 19mm Rear Sway, K20a2 w/LSD, AEM SRI, and I am not running a Cat. This will all change over the next couple months though.
