Im legal bitches! hahah
yup, i passed the Bar, no im not a lawyer.. haha, anyways, so i went and they looked at the stockness haha, looked at the block... saw k20a3... saw everything was hooked up correctly, looked at teh milage... 23,700, hah, thats im KMs... then they weighted it, i didn't see how fat it was... then hooked up a odb2 scanner... didn't see any code thrown... then they did a smog, i passed with flying colors...
they didn't look at the ecu, i could have had my kpro in there...
i got this cool sticker in my drivers side door saying im legal! woot!

Rep Power: 403 yup, they didn't lookat the ecu... a kpro will pass, the kpro i have is a type R ecu, so usdm scanners will look at mine weird, but they will read usdm ecus perfectly... so, i think im just going to build my k24 block, restamp it as a k20a2...

Rep Power: 0 Ah...fools! Cool sticker on driver side? Its nothing new in the East. First time I had seen something like that is when I was in Louisiana. Texas and Mississippi has it too but I don't know about other states. Better yet, goto Little Saigon, the auto shop behind the Asian Garden Mall should pass ya. Just bribe with extra $$$ and the VC's will let ya pass.

Actually, now that his car is BAR'd, he won't have to bribe anyone to let his car pass when the time comes to get smogged (as long as he has the k20a3 in still.)....

Rep Power: 403 haha, yea, im going to restamp my k24 as a k20... the problem is that when other peopl ein cali with swaps try to get smoged, they will have problems... haha, o well..
when i need to get smogged, i'll jsut have my kpro tunned with the Stock header and cat and a AEM CAI,i'll pass smog... hah
then toss my turbo kit back on.. hehe
