ryancivic has a little shameless behaviour in the past
installed right?

put my new shift **** on and cant decide if that nut is suppose to be there i dont like the look of it but i heard it keeps the **** from spinning off

My shif **** came with one but i just left it off. I have the adapter like u also.

I have the alluminum rsx ****, it is similar to yours. I put the nut on first than the shift ****, backed the **** off so it was straight then backed the nut off until it was tight against the shifter. I t does keep the **** from spinning.

my dc shift *** didnt come with a nut, so i didnt put one on. and i have no problem with it unscrewing. ill take pics later.
