OW40 oil at honda ???

okay so i was at honda early this morning to pick up a few minor parts and i was looking at stuff while the parts guy was grabbing my stuff and i noticed that honda had 0W40 oil ?? i know they use that oil in higher performance vehicles a few AMG's and the viper but what honda ??? someone answer this for me

I'm pretty sure the RSX-S uses 0W30.

Wouldn't doubt if they used it in bikes. They are very high performance I mean 148hp from a 1 litre. I would say thats high performance. But then again most dealerships don't deal with bikes. I always used whatever the motorcycle dealership gave me for my bike.

to end this conversation its used in the hybrid cars. how do i know? cause i do oil changes on em. most of time we just put in 5w20 cause there isnt much of a difference.

maybe for colder weather. i know you use 20w-30 in the summer, you should switch to 10w-30 for the winter. car starts quicker and smoother...
