Would it be worth going for the weekend? How long does it take to get there driving or flying? Looking at the dates of Friday Feb 3rd to Sunday Feb 5th. This would be arriving on Friday night late and coming back on Sunday. Is it worth going on such a short trip? Trying to make plans with friends.

Driving 90 all the way to vegas is about 9-10 hrs from san jose. Well thats how long it took me. Flying is for sure better but will cost you the $$. Im going on new years and round trip it costed me 280.

i've only been once, and it was a 5 day trip. i don't know about being there for just one full day. if you went for a weekend, i don't know. cause you don't really have enough time i'd think.(depending on what you wanted to do...)

I've never driven myself there, but I've rode with others... In my opinion, if you can bear that long drive, I'd do it because with the money you save, you can use that for gambling

How's the Hooters Hotel there? lol it's booked till Feb so we took the Venetian instead. To me it's worth the drive, it gets my mind off everything. Going 90+ will get me there within 3 to 3.5 hours.

don't drive to vegas from nor cal. Its not worth it man. If your not going to drive the speed limit the whole time then there's a lot of speed traps you have to drive through. Just fly, one airplane ticket is the same cost as one speeding ticket.

oh ur going to my second home! ok so here is the deal, if you are only going for 3 days do not drive! i just drove there a few weeks ago but it was a 4 day trip. it took me 8-9 hours both ways. the drive is boring if you have not done it before. i grew up with fam there so we always drove. right now, i just looked you can get a flight for 99 bux each way. gas will cost ya about 80-100 if you drive.

Im going to be there in the same weekend! im going for the ufc fights. let me o if you are going and i can get ya some vip passes for the clubs...

if u dont mind driving then go for it, i would rather fly, the drive going there wont be bad cuz your anxious but the drive back gonna sux

We wre gonna go cause of the UFC fights too, but we found out that the tickets are like $200-300 a piece. So we said mmmm... no. I've neva been down there, so its a first on everything.

thats why im going, for the fights!! I went a few weeks ago for ufc 56 at mgm its so much fun! I have been a few times now just for the fights. I say if you can afford it, go. there is nothing like being there live...the 2 seats we got were 800 bucks....its alot but its not something that comes arround all the time!

Drove from Sacto to Vegas one night with friends... trip took about 6.5 hours... partially because we were doing 90+ most of the way... but shhh... no one needs to know about that.

Tough to see the whole city in one weekend... and be prepared to do a lot of walking... unless you wanna spring for a cab.

I'd recommend making it at least an extended weekend... like 3-4 days minimum.
