Another 'Engine Noise' Thread

Hey guys. I'm new to the whole Honda thing after driving Mustangs for a while.

I have a bone stock 04 VP auto with 39k miles so a warranty is no help here. Lately, there's been a a vibration (and corresponding noise) coming from somewhere in the engine bay. It gets noisier as my speed increases.

I put my hand over the intake tube and the vibration disappeared so I'm guessing it may have something to do with it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

ya alot of intakes will vibrate if the filter is touching certain areas. Is everything stock or is there a different intake?

good idea. i would just go over the engine bay and make sure everything has screws. the intake has a bunch of gold bolts that if a couple are missing will cause vibration. Also the a/c lines going over the throttle cables sometimes touches and vibrates. Or it could just be your hood is loose. I got a terrible rattle and turned out that i could push on the hood when closed and it would move. I loosened the 2 rubber stoppers on the front and now its snug. can do the same for the trunk if its loose.
