Tein SS vs. Tokico Blues and Neuspeed Sport Springs

I have a little question for the suspension gurus here...

I currently have Tokico Blues and Neuspeed Sport Springs on my 02 coupe and I was wondering if I would notice any drastic differences if I were to switch to Tein Super Street Coilovers (besides the abilty to adjust ride height) and if its worth the extra cash.

I've heard that Tein SS's are actually more comfortable of a ride than stock, is that true? I definitely like the idea of being able to raise the ride height for the winter.

Oh and by the way, this is just a street car, so I dont plan on autocrossing it if that helps. Thanks

I was happy with my tokico blues with my eabiach springs I always wanted to switch to the TEIN springs but otherwise it was a much better ride. Now if you want more adjustability for comfort may the dspec or koni's otherwise I would stay away from the full coilover if your just doing everyday street driving

get the Tein SS, by the time you buy the springs, shocks, camber kit, it will cost almost as much as getting Tein SS on sale. And with Tein SS, you'll have more adjustability.

well for one you are gonna be more stiffer because the Tein SS is a linear spring and not progressive....

for me coilovers are better if you want height adjustability... i mean you could just get Koni Yellows and Ground Control spring/sleeve combo and youll be just as set as if you were if you bought coilovers... i think Boilermaker1 went from JIC majic coilovers to konis w/ GC's . you could ask him why he did this... but for me i would go with Tein FLEX with EDFC if i wanted to go all out w/ a coilover system but the konis and GC's are good too

you should also ask the ppl responding if they have n e experience not just there opinion, because coilovers will be harsh.ive had both, and so have my friends. thats why ppl switch to konis/tockicos w springs because if you drive on the street and dont want a 'race' ride which most ppl get tired of you will go to the non coilover route. and btw no one adjusts them once you get them slammed...

The major difference is damper and ride height adjustability, and unless you get the camber plates you'll have to buy a camber kit. If you're into autoxing or roadracing, then the tein's would be a great investment. Otherwise, if you're just a daily driver, then a spring/shock is fine and a little cheaper.
